Your business, school, organization, or group is invited to sponsor the LGBT Network’s Annual National Coming Out Day Campaign!

What is the Campaign?

The LGBT Network’s Coming Out Day Campaign engages communities of people to come out in support of the LGBT community.  People participate by wearing a rainbow or trans ribbon, an “Ally” sticker, pronoun sticker, and/or sign our Safe Space Pledge, or participate and attend other programs and events in support of the Day.  In doing so, participants help create awareness about the challenges that LGBT people face, like harassment, discrimination, bullying, violence, and more.  Ultimately, the Campaign helps to build visibility so that more people feel safe to come out and be out – everywhere.  Below are links to several videos from the last few years of the Campaign – teasers, promos, and news coverage – so that you can learn about the Campaign and how it creates impact.

How many participate?

In 2019, more than 900 businesses, schools, organizations, places of worship, and other institutions implemented our Campaign, engaging more than 1 million people.  The Campaign reaches across the country and around the globe!  All types of organizations participate.

Why sponsor?

The LGBT Network provides each participating institution a Campaign Kit FREE – hundreds of ribbon, posters, palm cards, pronoun stickers, Ally stickers, Safe Space Stickers, and more.  And we ship it for FREE, too.  And we keep it FREE so that the program is accessible to anyone anywhere.  But it’s expensive, and that’s why we invite you to consider sponsoring this year’s Campaign.  Every dollar counts.  Plus, your sponsorship is a demonstration of your commitment to LGBT diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), as well as your social responsibility.  Each sponsor is listed on our website, receives a Campaign Kit, and acknowledgment on our social media.  There are more benefits, too – please see the attached Sponsorship Grid document for details.

How do I sponsor?

It’s easy.  Please see the attached Sponsorship Grid that explains the benefits.  Sponsorship contributions can be handled here:   If you have any questions, please contact us at
